Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful antioxidant properties. It has a slightly bitter, warm taste and used in Middle Eastern cuisine to flavor foods like curries and rice dishes or beverages like golden milk and turmeric chai. Turmeric also supports healthy joint mobility. It is often also used as a natural yellow dye.
Ingredients: Organic Turmeric (Curcuma longa).
Suggested Uses: Add to soups, cooking, smoothies, baths, etc. Infuse in water or olive oil. For hot or cold tea, pour 8-12 oz of boiling water over 1 tsp. of herbs. Steep 3-4 min.
